Honouring Furius Whelan

In March, the RE/MAX Cayman Islands family lost one of our own Furius Whelan.

His sudden passing has been a huge loss not just for his family, friends, and community, but to those who worked side-by-side with him during his time at RE/MAX Cayman Islands.

Everyone loved Furius. He was full of life, and full of questions! After spending 20 years in the hairstyling business, Furius made the leap to real estate just over a year ago. From the day he started, his passion and enthusiasm were unrivaled. He wanted to learn as much as

possible, be one of the best, and would often just pop in one of our offices full of questions.

“It is very tragic,” added Kim Lund, Broker/ Owner, RE/MAX Cayman Islands. “Furius was a rising Star on his way to a tremendous career in real estate.”

“Furius had a positive impact on so many people,” added James Bovell, Broker/Owner, RE/MAX Cayman Islands. “He was an incredible person who was deeply loved and admired. Our sympathies go out to his wife, daughter, family, and friends.”
