In This Together Campaign Raises More Than CI $47,000 for Local Charities in 4 Months

Since its launch on March 27th, the “In this Together” campaign started by RE/MAX Cayman Islands has donated more than CI $47,000 to local charities and plans to continue the campaign through the Summer.

The purpose of the “In this Together” campaign is to support Cayman by giving back. The primary focus has been donations to local charities, who are both critical and the most vulnerable throughout this pandemic, as well as some of the most needed services.

“When faced with a crisis, the one thing the people of the Cayman Islands can be proud of is how we come together as one and the “In this Together” campaign has been no different,” added James Bovell, Broker/Owner at RE/MAX Cayman Islands. “In more ways than ever before, Cayman has come together…as one.”

To date donations have been made to Meals on Wheels, Kiwanis Club of Cayman for their Homeschool Lunch Program, Cayman Islands Food Bank, Cayman ARK, the Alex Panton Foundation, Feed Our Future, Cayman Islands Crisis Centre and One Dog at a Time.

With each new donation by RE/MAX Cayman Islands, promoted on both social media and on the “In this Together” website (www.inthistogether.ky), RE/MAX Cayman Islands also launched a “match campaign” wherein we encouraged everyone who could to also donate to these charities. RE/MAX then matched those donations as well.

“We’d like to thank every single individual and company who donated to the “In this Together” initiative as part of our match campaign,” added Kim Lund, Broker/Owner at RE/MAX Cayman Islands. “As a result, an additional CI $20,000 in donations has been generated for these much-needed charities.”

A huge thank you to the following RE/MAX Cayman Islands agents who also made individual donations to the “In this Together” campaign.
